Description

Unusual 18th.c. style dresser base or side table c.1960. Top veneered in highly figured and symmetrically arranged burr elm with a deep moulded edge. Burr elm front with three drawers, note how the grain is matched across the drawer fronts, with Georgian pattern brass handles. Oak drawer linings. Very attractive ogee arch shaped apron with a cockbeaded edge below the drawers and continued at the sides. Raised on superb George II style cabriole front legs in walnut with splendid carved hoof feet. Turned and tapering legs to the back edge. Some old wear and scratches to the top. Otherwise excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
