Description

Spectacular wall mirror with unusual pierced steel decoration to the frame c.1920. 30" x 21" mirror plate with a bevelled edge within a raised 'cushion' frame in oak with decorative mouldings. Broad surrounding frame featuring beautiful pressed and pierced steel decoration of scrolling foliate forms against the original teal coloured fabric backing. Minor tarnish to the mirror plate and obvious wear to the backing fabric. Otherwise very good condition. Could be hung either landscape or portrait aspect.
