Description

Pretty little landscape oil painting in oil on canvas dated 1922. A finely dressed woman with basket on her arm and child hurry along a path below a line of tall poplar trees with a large red roof house in the background. In an unusual painterly style in thick oils on canvas, particularly lively treatment of the trees and sky. Signed and dated 1922 in the lower right hand corner. Presented unframed on the original stretcher. In need of a clean, otherwise good original condition.
