Description

Splendid Regency era mahogany wine cooler or cellarette c.1830. Of Classical sarcophagus form with panelled sides with ebonised mouldings and large bronze leopard's masks holding brass hoop handles. Raised on carved claw feet with brass barrel castors below. Zinc lined (internal liner height 11½") to hold bottles in ice or would make a superb planter for large indoor plants. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
