Description

Fine pair of French Art Nouveau walnut and marble top side tables c.1905. Ideal as bedsides or as lamp tables in a living room. Original marble tops with a very sightly curved front and moulded edges. Over a slim drawer to both tables, one with an open shelf below whilst the other has a small cupboard. Solid walnut frames with burr walnut veneers to the drawer fronts, door, side panels and shelf. Beautiful and original Art Nouveau brass handles to the drawers. Leaf and flower head carved detail to the tops of the front stiles. The organic theme continues in the sinuous lines of the legs with their slightly outswept feet front and rear. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
