Description

Impressively proportioned four door walnut bookcase c.1910. Breakfronted with long glazed doors, the slightly deeper two door centre fitted with three adjustable shelves (internal depth 14"), the sides with four shelves (internal depth 13"). Useful blind storage at the bottom of each and three slim drawers in the base. A good looking bookcase with deep moulded cornice with carved detail at the centre. Centre doors flanked with turned and fluted half column pilasters, flat fluted pilasters at the ends with acanthus leaf corbels. Raised mouldings around the glazed panels and deep raised double panels below. Moulded plinth on low turned bun feet. Superior quality with solid walnut carcass and side panels, pine shelves, drawer linings and back. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Keys supplied.
