An early Paris verge, with fine white dial and silver balance bridge.

MOVEMENT : Four beautiful divided Egyptian pillars, each with silver ribbed shoulder (one of these is missing). The four arm brass balance wheel is covered by a wonderful silver balance cock which is decorated with a pierced monogram.
Signed “J.h. Cornu, Deluce a Paris”.

The movement is running well.

DIAL : The large white enamel dial is in excellent condition with raised black numerals and nicely detailed half hour markers.
Just two light hairlines (one between IX and X and the other between IIII and V).
Fancy pierced brass hands.

CASE : The gilt brass case is in very nice condition.
There is some wear to the gilding on the back but no dents or scratches. The hinges and catches are fine and the case closes nicely. The high dome bull’s eye crystal is in fine condition with no damage.
