Description

A fine early 19th century Dublin gold verge, complete with rose gold chain and T bar.

MOVEMENT : A good quality verge movement. Signed (Matt. West, Dublin) and numbered (1292).

Engraved balance cock, with diamond endstone, and blued screws.

All in good condition, and running well.

DIAL : A fine gold dial, with engine turned centre, and rose gold numerals.
In good condition.

Nice gold serpentine hands.

CASE : 18ct gold case, fully hallmarked for London 1822. Maker’s mark RM, and case number 3058.
Milled decoration to the band, with engine turning to the back. Small central cartouche with worn engraving

A few light scratches but in generally good condition throughout. The hinges are fine and both bezel and back snap shut correctly. The decoration is still crisp, with very little wear. The high dome crystal is fine.

The watch is held by a short rose gold chain, complete with clip and T bar. All chain parts stamped for 9ct gold.
