Signed “Dwerrihouse, Berkley Square” and numbered (1180).
In excellent condition and running well.

In reasonable condition with no hairlines or chips, but the lower third has been restored, resulting in staining and a slight roughness to the white enamel
Gilt hands.
CASE : A beautiful gold and enamel case in excellent condition.
Split pearl bezels to back and front, with blue and white enamel borders. The panel on the back has a blue guilloche engine turned centre, with blue and white border.
All in excellent condition, with just a few small scratches to the high dome crystal. The gold tests as around 20 carat.
CHATELAINE : A fine gilt and blue enamel chatelaine, matching the enamel work on the watch case. The length is 105 mm. to the central hook. This a memorial piece (momento mori) with the central panel containing a lock of woven hair.
The main construction of the chatelaine is of gilded brass with guilloche enamel panels, but the key tests as high carat gold. There are three pearls between the main panels and a glass oval in the centre of the large panel, framed with tiny diamonds and containing the lock of hair.
Very good overall condition. The two small upper side panels have cracks to the enamel, but no enamel missing. The oval shaped diamond bezel to the lock of hair has one tiny stone missing, and the glass covering the hair is cracked.
Dwerrihouse is listed at Berkley square, London around 1800.
