A jump hour, cylinder watch, with very stylish silver dial, in a wonderful, slim gold case.

MOVEMENT : Gilded cylinder movement. A few scratches to the gilding, but otherwise in good condition, and running well.

DIAL : Engine turned silver, asymmetrical dial, with jump hour window at the top, lower large minute dial, and subsidiary seconds dial within the minute.
A few rub marks to the engine turning, and some wear to the silvering on the digital hour ring, but in overall good condition. Blued steel hands.

CASE : A fine slim, rose gold case, engine turned to the back, front and band. Windows to the front, revealing jump hour and minutes. French gold marks (Paris, 1819 onwards) and serial number (306 rubbed) stamped on curvette and back cover. The curvette is signed “Roche, PALAIS ROYAL” and numbered (25).

A little even wear to the edges of the engine turning, and scratches to the curvette, but generally in very good condition. The crystals and hinges are fine and the covers all snap shut correctly.

Roche is listed in Paris between 1819 and 1825.
