A fine early 19th century London gold verge, all in fine condition.

MOVEMENT : A good quality verge movement. Signed (Brown & Wilkinson, 38 Piccadilly, London) and numbered (4715).

Engraved balance cock, with diamond endstone, and blued screws. The movement is protected by a removable gilt dustcap, signed and numbered as the movement.

All in good condition, and running well.

DIAL : A fine gold dial, with engine turned centre, and rose gold numerals.
In excellent condition, with just a couple of very light marks.

Nice gold serpentine hands.

CASE : 18ct gold case, fully hallmarked for London 1813. Maker’s mark WI, and serial number as the movement.
Milled decoration to the bezel, band, stem and back, with engine turning to the centre of the back. Fine twisted decoration to the gold bow.

Excellent condition throughout. The hinges are fine and both bezel and back snap shut correctly. The decoration is still crisp, with no wear. The high dome crystal is fine.
