DIAL White enamel, in reasonable condition, with some surface scratches, cracks around 3, and damage around the catch at 6. Later blued steel hands.

INNER CASE Gilt/brass with some wear to the gilding but no damage or repairs. The hinge is fine and the case snaps shut. High dome bull's eye crystal in good condition.

OUTER CASE Gilt/brass with shell or horn covering. Good colour. The back has one tiny chip and a few short cracks but generally good (only one pin missing). The bezel has a couple of cracks and a small area of restoration near the neck (again only one pin missing). The hinge and catch are fine and the case closes nicely.
