Description

MOVEMENT Gilded verge fusee movement, with engraved and pierced balance cock. Signed and numbered (16284). All in good original condition, with a few scratches around the pillars. Running well.

DIAL Enamel, in excellent condition, with just some very light surface scratches.

INNER CASE Silver, hallmarked for London, 1826. Maker's mark JL. Good condition throughout with just a slight bruise at the winding aperture. The high dome bull's eye crystal is fine. The hinge and catch are fine and the case closes properly.

OUTER CASE Silver, with matching hallmarks to the inner. Good condition through with a few slight knocks on the bezel edge and one small spilt on the bottom edge at the back. The hinge and catch are fine and the case closes correctly.

The outer case contains an old watchpaper from W. Jones of Tredegar, dated April, 1839.
