Description

An excellent quality London cylinder watch, with gold balance wheel.

MOVEMENT Nice quality cylinder movement, fully signed and numbered (2263). Diamond endstone, blued screws and 5 spoke gold balance wheel. All in good original condition and running well.

DIAL White enamel, in good condition with just a few very light hairlines running from the edge between 11 and 12, and a small repair on the edge at 6. Matching gold coloured spade hands.

CASE 49 mm. Silver. Hallmarks for London, 1849, maker ROJE (rubbed). Engine turned engraving to back and band. One very light bump on the back but otherwise in excellent condition. The hinges, catches and crystal are fine.

David & William Morice are listed at Fenchurch Street until 1832.
