Description

A fine quality, heavy, early Liverpool rack lever watch.

MOVEMENT Rack lever movement, fully signed and numbered (35593). Diamond endstone, blued screws and stop/start lever. All in good original condition and running well. The movement is protected by a removable gilt dustcap.

DIAL White enamel, with subsidiary seconds dial. In perfect condition, except for just one light hairline across the edge at 6.

CASE Silver. Hallmarks for Chester, 1821, maker IW., and with movement serial number. Gold hinges. Milled around the band and plain back. A little wear around the band but in very good overall condition. The crystal has one tiny chip right on the bezel.
