A very stylish watch, with a fine English verge movement, in a rose gold case with engine turned gold dial.

MOVEMENT Fine verge movement, fully signed and numbered (2309). Beautifully engraved balance cock with diamond endstone and blued screws. All in very fine original condition and running well.
The hinged gilt curvette is also fully signed and numbered as the movement.

DIAL Gold dial, with engine turned engraving. Excellent condition. Nice gold serpentine hands.

CASE 18ct rose gold. Hallmarks for London, 1813, maker DW and with the movement serial number 309. The gold is in very good condition and hinges and catches are fine. No repairs and just a little wear to the engine turning and couple of tiny bruises.

Desbois & Wheeler are listed in London (Gray's Inn Passage) between 1790 and 1835.
