Description

A collection of 52 volumes of The Sporting Magazine, comprising series 1,2,&3. Made up of 12 vols, Series 1, 11 vols of series 2, and 29 vols of Series 3. Published by Ackerman, London, these are 1st editions, half leather, marbled boards, gilt spines with some scuffing, bindings mainly sound. Boards firm at hinges, except some in Series 1, (see pictures). Text and plates mostly clean, occasional browning but mostly in excellent condition.
