Here we have a stunning George IV Regency Rosewood work or sewing table c1830. As you can see the table has great colour and patina. There is beautiful grain to the top which lifts and swivels to create a work space or perfect small card table. The beautiful Burgundy baize is surrounded by a richly coloured crisp Rosewood border. There is a single drawer with solid Mahogany linings and hand cut dovetail joints. There are panelled sides and a slide out well covered in pleated Silk like material. There is a typical frame holding the well leading to a quatre form base with scroll work feet and original casters. A super table of wonderful compact proportions in great retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 18 inches wide 15 deep and 29 high. The top is 31 inches wide when open.
