Here we have a stunning fine quality Arts and Crafts Pugin influenced Gothic Ash bedroom suite c1870. As you can see the items have great colour and patina. We know the date to be around 1870 and not after 1879 as this was made by WM Johnson and Sons of 82-84 Fragate Sheffield label photographed. This firm of cabinet makers was taken over in 1879 by Joseph Appleyard of Rotherham becoming Johnson Appleyard Ltd in the year of 1879. The bedroom suite is of the most stunning quality and made from carefully selected timbers of beautiful English Ash. The suite consists of a Chest of drawers, dressing table, Wardrobe and bed head. This very much Pugin influenced Gothic revival suite has beautiful carving, turnings, turrets, tracery etc. The suite is in beautiful retail condition throughout. The wardrobe splits in to four managable pieces so easy to get upstairs. A rare and stunning suite ready for your home. The dimensions are approx.
