Here we have a rare and beautiful Spanish Oak and Chestnut sideboard, dresser or serving table c1650. As you can see the table has breathtaking colour and patina. There is a single plank top with the most amazing colour and grain which is 1.5 inches thick. There are two heavy drawers below. The drawers have carved geometric decoration to the front and are of typical construction of the period. The legs are squared, tapered and carved with beautiful roundels. The legs are joined by an H stretcher. There is evidence of old worm as you would expect but nothing live. A super statement piece to grace any hallway, kitchen or dining room in excellent retail condition. The dimensions are approx 69 inches wide 29 high and 26 deep.
