Here we have a wonderful set of 8 including one carver Essex bar back kitchen dining chairs by J R Bedwell of Colchester c1830. As you can see the chairs have great colour and patina. There are extended side supports with a bar top rail and decorative bar back. The seats are dished and the legs are beautifully turned. These Elm and Birch chairs are very comfortable and are in great retail condition for everyday use. The chairs are labelled for J R Bedwell of 62 Colchester High Street Essex it is rare to find this kind of prvenance on a set of chairs.
