Here we have a fine miniature Wellington chest of drawers c1870. As you can see the chest has great colour and patina. There is a straight grained top with inlaid Tulip wood band and a cross banded edge. The chest is break fronted and has a lockable flap to the right side which secures all the drawers. The chest retains the working lock and key. The front sides are finished in delicious Walnut and have a cross banded inlaid Tulip woood band. The drawers are also finished with the same beautiful Walnut fronts and Tulip wood inlay. The drawers retain the original turned handles and are all solid Mahogany linings with hand cut dovetail joints. The whole sits on a plinth base. A super rare chest in great retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 56 cm high 44 cm wide 23 cm deep.
