Here we have a very rare Victorian Oak and Brass extending fire guard c1880. As you can see the Oak has great colour and patination. This fire guard could even be unique as I have researched and asked colleagues and they have never seen one. The Oak is carefully selected for grain and shaped beautifully. The fireguard opens by simply pulling the top section and then locks into place on the sides. The fire guard is practical especially for young children but also has wonderful decorative appeal. A super rare fire guard in great retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 47 inches wide 16 deep and 28 high.
