Here we have a wonderful rare George III Elm refectory dining table c1790. As you can see the table has remarkable colour and patina. There is a nearly two inch thick two plank top with wonderful colour. The top lifts off to reveal a well constructed base. There are thick planks to the sides with a drawer at each end. The drawers retain their original turned bun handles and have faux cockbeaded edges. The legs are squared and tapered with an internal chamfer and decorative moulding to the outside leading edge. The table is constructed using pegged mortice and tenon joints. A super period table that will comfortbaly seat 8 in fantastic retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 213 cm long 87 cm deep 77 cm high.
