Here we have a wonderful and rare Victorian period Zanzibar chest c1880. As you can see the chest has great colour and patina. This being the largest version of these chests making for a rare piece. The quality is also fantastic with beautiful solid heavy planks and beautiful brass decoartion and studded detail. There are three drawers with original brass handles and hand cut thick dovetail joints. There are also the original heavy brass carrying handles to the sides. A wonderful period chest in great retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 120 cm wide 53 cm high 58 cm deep.
