Description

Here we have a wonderful small Victorian Mahogany writing desk c1860. As you can see the desk has a rich conker colour and great patina. There is a tooled and gilded leather skiver to the top and a crossbanded surround. There is a thumb moulded edge and two drawers below. The drawers have solid Mahogany linings, hand cut dovetail joints and original turned wooden handles. There is a beautiful ogee moulding to the edge of the drawers and the original working locks and key are in place. The legs are well turned and finished with ceramic casters. A super sized small desk in great retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 105 cm wide 74 cm deep 75 cm high.
