Here we have a wonderful and rare Victorian Walnut desk or library chair by Heal and Son London c1880. As you can see the chair has fantastic colour and patina. There is a horseshoe back in Burgundy leather with studwork detail. There are solid Walnut reeded supports to the back. There are beautifully turned arm supports which lead to the equally stunning turned legs. There are brass and ceramic casters at the base. The thick saddle shaped solid Walnut seat has super grain and colour and as you would expect from this maker the chair is of outstanding quality. A super period chair in great retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 78 cm high 60 cm wide 50 cm deep seat height 47 cm.
