Here we have a stunning early Victorian Ash and Elm Windsor armchair c1840. As you can see the chair has incredible colour and patina. This is one of five chairs of this type that we have. They were collected over 60 years subject to this being a rare design of Windsor. The chairs are fresh to the market. There is a small to rail with spindle back leading to bow shaped arms. There are further spindles below the arms with turned arm supports. There is a beautiful thick grainy Elm seat and well turned legs joined by an H stretcher. The chair is solid throughout and in excellent retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 84 cm high 60 cm wide 52 cm deep seat height 45 cm.
