Here we have a wonderful Pugin influenced Arts and Crafts Oak desk by W. Walker of Bunhill Row London c1870. As you can see the desk has great colour and patina. The top has a delicious leather skiver of rich colour and patina. The leather is tooled, gilded and has a shallow Oak cross banded surround. There are three Ash lined drawers to the top section which retain their original beautiful brass Pugin influenced drop handles. There are internal chamfers on the drawer surrounds and carefully selected timber throughout. There are a further three drawers to each pedestal and a plinth base. The drawers have high quality Hobbs and Co locks. A super period desk and rare find in great retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 138 cm wide 70 cm deep 78 cm high. Knee hole is 60 cm wide 62 cm high.
