Here we have a stunning rare pair of Victorian Mahogany library or reading chairs c1870. As you can see the chairs have exceptional colour and patina. The chairs are finished in the finest black hide. There is a buttoned back with beautiful shaped side supports. There is wonderful studwork throughout. There are finely turned spindles to the arm supports. The arm ends have exquisitely carved Lion masks which have stunning colour. The legs are also beautifully turned and finished with original ceramic casters. A rare period pair of chairs which are extremely comfortable in fantastic retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 96 cm high 74 wide and 70 deep.
