Here we have a fantastic original enamel sign for 'Halls Distemper' by Sissons Brothers and co Ltd c1920. As you can see the colours and graphics are bright and crisp and the sign is in great condition. This large sign has a wonderful pictorial element with two men carrying a plank with the name of the product on the plank. Also a an image of a super Arts and Crafts house. The Sissons Brothers firm was started in 1803 and became Sissons Brothers and co Ltd sometime in the 1880's. The sign was made by the famous Patent Enamel Company of Birmingham. A super period sign in great condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 66.5 inches long and 26 high.
