French Longchamp Cream Porcelain Oyster Plates. This is a set of six fantastic Longchamp ivory white oyster/scallop plates, dating from the 1950's, all of the plates are stamped on the reverse with the Longchamp crest, France. All with a lovely crackled glaze, they have a classic basket weave design of the Longchamp style, and indents in the form of scallops. Fabulously elegant, they date from the mid-century. Each plate is equipped with 6 indented areas in the form of shells and a central hollow to accommodate the half or quartered lemon. These oyster plates are both decorative and usable.

Condition report:

Good over all condition, no cracks. The cream glaze is crackled but does not effect either the usability or decorative look.
