In General

A wonderful English George III (1760 -1820) oak sideboard with a rare cellaret drawer.

Not known.

Year

Believed to be early George III (1760 - 1820) or possibly late George II (1727 - 1760).

Material

Oak

Condition

In excellent solid antique condition. However the sideboard has a number of scratches, nicks, dings and marks commensurate with its age and use. It responds well to proper waxing.

The sideboard top is solid - however over time some narrow gaps have occurred in some of the planks of wood making up the top. There is what appears to be a knot hole on the RHS of the sideboard. The rear of the sideboard is in good condition albeit over time some narrow gaps have occurred in some of the planks of wood making up this area. Please see photographs.
