A late Georgian brass tavern candlestick with bell.
Nicely turned with very good detail.
The bell is made of bell metal as indeed it should be.
Original aperture for removing stubs.
Circular dish base.
12.5 " (32 cms) high
Base 6"(15 cms) diam.

These candlesticks are known as tavern sticks as they were traditionaly used in inns ,the bell used to summon staff.
