Description

A George 111 brass and iron trivet with turned wooden handle that appears to be original.
This trivet has an interesting feature in that it has provision for an iron rod which went through the eye in the back leg,was steadied by the spring and then through the hole in front of the handle,then bent forward and split to form a toasting fork.Please see photos.
Length 39 cms,width 18,height 23.
In very good general order with some surface rust to the ironwork to be expected.
