An antique 19th cent. Copenhagen dinner plate painted with Saxon flowers (Deutsche blumen).Ozier moulded border.
The Royal Copenhagen museum,to whom I sent a photo,informs that the plate dates from circa 1880.
10" diam.
Hand painted mark in unerglaze blue.Painters mark G.
In wonderful condition.Can hardly have been used if at all in 136 years.
