Offered for sale is this good quality Victorian mahogany telescopic dining table extending from approximately 48" x 42" extending to 71" x 42" with one leaf. a comfortable 6 - 8 seater. It is a warm mellow brown colour and is a very dense mahogany with good graining. The rounded rectangular top has a double edge moulding above turned and reeded supports standing on original brass and ceramic castors. The extending mechanism works very smoothly and comes complete with winding handle. The table has been cleaned and sympathetically repolished whilst retaining its original character. It is in excellent showroom condition and dates to about 1870.
