Offered for sale is this superb quality set of ten Chippendale style mahogany dining chairs in excellent condition consisting of eight single and two carver chairs. The chairs are a rich mellow brown mahogany colour with original patination and date to between 1900 - 1920. The set of ten mahogany Chippendale style chairs are of excellent proportions and have a yoke shaped back rail with pierced, carved and interlaced centre splat above drop - in seats newly reupholstered in light tan hide and standing on cabriole legs with ball and claw feet. These are a superb quality set of chairs with very dense and heavy mahogany, the hide seats compliments the chairs and is extremely hard wearing. The set of 10 antique mahogany chairs are in excellent showroom condition having been cleaned, revived and waxed along with the seats reupholstered in top quality hide.
