Offered for sale is this good set of six 1920's George Ist style walnut dining chairs consisting of four single and two carver chairs. The high backed chairs have a carved yoke shaped back rail with a centre splat above drop-in seats upholstered in tan hide on cabriole supports with hoof feet and turned strechers . The chairs are a rich brown walnut colour that would work equally well with a walnut or mahogany table. They are in superb condition with alll joints firm and have been cleaned, revived and waxed. The tan seats are in good condition with a few marks, character, hide is particularly suitable for children as it is easily cleaned. The seats can be reupholstered in fabric to suit for an additional £100.
