Offered for sale is this superb quality large round mahogany Chippendale style extending dining table measuring 61" x 60" extending to 145.5" x 60" with four leaves and dating to about 1920. The round extending dining table has superb graining almost like flame mahogany (the last 3 pictures are a true representation of colour)a moulded edge above a skirt with a rope edge on cabriole supports with carved shoulders, ball and claw feet and original brass castors. The table will seat 14 - 16. The table is in excellent showroom condition having been sympathetically repolished. The superb quality of the table is reflected in its extending mechanism whichq has double runners with a screw mechanism operated from both ends and works extremely smoothly and has an additional central leg for stability.
