Offered for sale is this superb quality Victorian mahogany telescopic dining table by Maple & Co extending from approximately 56.5" x 48" to 94.5" x 48" with two original leaves, a comfortable 10 seater. It is a medium brown mahogany colour that would work equally well with both walnut and mahogany chairs. The rectangular D ended top has a moulded edge above turned and reeded supports and standing on original brass and ceramic castors. The extending mechanism works very smoothly and comes complete with winding handle. The table has been cleaned and sympathetically repolished whilst retaining its original character. It is in excellent showroom condition and dates to about 1880. The table is of excellent quality that is always associated with the Maple & Co stamp.
