Offered for sale is this good Victorian walnut telescopic dining table extending from approximately 71" x 47" to 106" x 47" with two original leaves, a comfortable 12 seater. It is a mellow brown walnut colour that would work equally well with both walnut and mahogany chairs. The rectangular top has canted corners with a moulded edge above turned and reeded supports and standing on original brass and ceramic castors. The extending mechanism works very smoothly and comes complete with winding handle. The table has been cleaned and sympathetically repolished whilst retaining its original character. It is in excellent showroom condition and dates to about 1890. We specialise in antique dining suites trading from our own showroom in Wokingham, Berkshire .
