Offered for sale is this superb very large Victorian oak telescopic dining table extending from 81" x 51" to 144" x 51" with three original leaves, a comfortable 14/16 seater. The large rectangular oak table has a reeded edge above bulbous ring turned supports . It has the standard Joseph Fitter extending mechanism and works both robustly and smoothly and comes with original winding handle. The table dates to about 1880 and has been cleaned and sympathetically repolished whilst retaining its original character. It is in excellent showroom condition and is of superior quality.
