Offered for sale is this superb very large Victorian oak telescopic dining table extending from 62" x 53" to 140" x 53" with four original leaves, a comfortable 14/16 seater. The large rectangular oak table has rounded ends with a carved moulding above carved bulbous supports . It has the standard Joseph Fitter extending mechanism and works both robustly and smoothly and comes with winding handle. The table has dates to about 1890 -1900 and has been cleaned and sympathetically repolished whilst retaining its original character. It is in excellent showroom condition. We will e shortly listing a set of twelve Victorian oak dining chairs by " Maple & Co " that will go well with this table.

The table can be viewed in either our workshop in East Sussex or showroom in Berkshire.
