Offered for sale is this superb quality 1920's mahogany rectangular telescopic dining table extending from 53" x 53" to 106" x 53" with three varying size leaves making it a versatile table that can seat 12 comfortably with 14 at a push. The rectangular top has rounded corners with a moulded edge above cabriole supports with original brass and ceramic castors. The extending mechanism is the standard Joseph Fitter patented system and works very smoothly and comes complete with winding handle. The table is made from some of the finest dense mahogany timber with fine graining, it is a rich conker brown colour and is elegant and well proportioned and has been cleaned and sympathetically repolished whilst retaining its original character.
