Offered for sale is this superb Victorian round oak telescopic dining table extending from 60" x 60" to 107" x 60" with two original leaves, a comfortable 10/12 seater. The large round table has a double thumbnail moulded edge extending to a d shaped table. It is a pull out table with a very robust and smooth extending mechanism and dates to the early part of the Victorian period. The table stands on spiral (double spiral) turned castored legs and is of excellent quality, a rare model, the first one I have seen in 30 years. The table has been cleaned and sympathetically repolished whilst retaining its original character. It is in excellent showroom condition and is a warm honey/medium oak colur with superb graining from quarter sawn oak. We will be shortly listing a set of twelve Victorian oak dining chairs by " Maple & Co " that will go well with this table.
