Offered for sale is this good long set of twelve Edwardian Hepplewhite style dining chairs dating to 1907 and in excellent condition consisting of twelve single chairs. The chairs are a lovely rich mellow brown mahogany colour. The set of twelve mahogany Hepplewhite style chairs have camel shaoped back rail with pierced centre splat above drop-in seats newly reupholstered in a neutral gold fabric on square tapered supports. The set of 12 antique mahogany chairs are in excellent showroom condition having been cleaned, revived and waxed along with the seats reupholstered in a neutral gold fabric. The chairs have a makers plate to the underside " Stephen Bindon, Upholsterers, Eastbourne". Heis listed in Kellys 1867 directory as an upholsterer and cabinet maker.
