Offered for sale is this good set of six antique George II style mahogany dining chairs consisting of six single chair, but with two larger than the other four, effectively carvers without arms. The high backed chairs dating to about 1900 have a shaped back rail with a vase shaped centre splat above newly reupholstered drop-in seats with cabriole supports on pad feet . The chairs are in excellent showroom condition with all joints firm and have been cleaned, revived and hand waxed with newly reupholstered seats covered in a neutral cream and gold fabric.
