Offered for sale is this superb quality set of six Hepplewhite style dining chairs in excellent condition consisting of four single and two carver chairs. The chairs are a rich brown mahogany colour with original patination and date to between 1900 - 1920. The set of six mahogany Hepplewhite style chairs have shield shaped backs with wheatsheaf carving and a pierced and carved centre splat above overstuffed sprung seats uipholstered in a good quality hide which has faded to a superb mellow brown colour and standing on cabriole legs with carved shoulders and ball and claw feet. These are a superior quality set of chairs with crisp carvig and double studded leather upholstery, one of the finest sets we have ever had. The set of 6 antique mahogany chairs are in excellent showroom condition with original patination.
