Offered for sale is this superb Victorian oak telescopic dining table extending from 64" x 45" to 96" x 45" with two leaves, a comfortable 10 seater. The rectangular shaped top has a moulded edge with canted corners above reeded and ring turned supports with original brass and ceramic castors. The extending mechanism is the standard Joseph Fitter patented system and works very smoothly and comes complete with winding handle. The table has been cleaned and sympathetically repolished whilst retaining its original character. It is in excellent showroom condition and it is a warm mellow colour that would go equally well with oak, light mahogany and walnut ( see our other listings for the chairs shown in the picture).
